Dear Sister,

Something profoundly beautiful is happening today, and we have been invited to support this historical event by sharing this incredible news with you.  
 
Last year thousands of women met at the border of Palestine and Israel with humble hearts of forgiveness, carrying prayers for peace. They marched together down a long hill and gathered at the Jordan River. The echoes of thousands of mothers, sisters, and daughters could be heard for miles, as they passionately cried out for a better future, for another way, for an end to violence, bloodshed, and terror. They  raised their voices in Arabic, Hebrew and English, singing a song composed specifically for this event. 

From the North to the South
From the West to the East
Hear the prayer of the mothers
 Bring them peace

WOMEN WAGE PEACE!
Thousands of Hebrew, Muslim and Christian women demanding peace!
 
Tens of thousands of Israeli women from across the political spectrum, demanding a diplomatic agreement to end the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, will join
thousands of Palestinian women near the Dead Sea, under the world“s largest
peace tent, to
launch a Women“s Parliament and hold a mass rally in Jerusalem.

The journey to peace ‘ led by Women Wage Peace, currently numbering
25,000 Israeli members and 45,000 FB supporters worldwide ‘ begins on September
24th and continues through Oct 10th, passing through much of the country on its way.

 Since ancient times, we have been fighting with one another. So much resentment and blame has built up the hearts of people all over the world. However, despite this wound within the heart of humanity, healing is happening on a massive level!  Millions of noble men and women are rising in the name of forgiveness and peace, and it is an honor to say that women are leading this movement.
