Please join us at the One Earth Film Festival for the Midwest's premier environmental film festival, March 7-9, 2014, at locations in Chicago, Oak Park, River Forest and other nearby communities.  Complete schedule including pre-fest film showings and venue details is available here.

The festival, which drew more than 2,000 viewers last year, is produced by Green Community Connections, and features 30 films on sustainability-themed topics.  Films tell the human story behind the statistics and offer examples of what ordinary people are doing to make an extraordinary difference.  Enjoy post-film discussions and activities to glean additional insights and be energized.

A few of the many inspiring films include “rEvolution,”  “GMO OMG,” “Comfort Zone,” “Urban Roots,” “Harmony,” and “The New Environmentalists.”  There are also engaging children’s films on Saturday and Sunday afternoons.  One Earth Film Festival films are almost all FREE (with a suggested donation of $5 per film), and promise something meaningful for everyone — adults, teens, families and children. (Volunteers needed for Fest weekend.)
Visit oneearthfilmfest.org for details.  Reservations are strongly recommended  as some venues may reach full capacity.

For additional information or assistance choosing films and registering, please call or email Sally Stovall (773-315-1109 or [email protected]).
