Camp Extended - Tennis and Fitness Camp at The Tennis and Fitness Centre

Most summer camps have ended but not at The Tennis and Fitness Centre!  Now is the time to introduce your child to tennis or get in one more week of practice before the start of the indoor tennis season.

What:  Tennis and fitness instruction together in one camp

            Whizz Kids Tennis (Ages 3-5) - Minimum of 5 participants required

            Quick-Start Tennis (Ages 6-10) - Minimum of 5 participants required

            Junior High Tennis (Ages 11-14) - Minimum of 5 participants required

Kids will enjoy 2 hours of fun tennis instruction taught by Gino Viele and Jeremy Dixon and 1 hour of fitness conditioning and fitness fun led Cuffey Roberson.  Tennis and fitness instruction will be specific to the age group. 

Gino grew up training at the Bollettieri Academy, where he honed his competitive tennis skills.  Gino is a USTA QuickStart certified professional.  He has taught full time in Arizona, Peoria, and at The River Forest Tennis Club in River Forest.  Gino’s versatile style is effective with young kids and adults. 

Jeremy grew up in Oak Park and played tennis for the OPRF team. He was on the Varsity team all 4 years at OPRF and finished in 4th place at the 2013 IHSA State Boys Tennis Tournament.  He was top 300 in the nation and top 15 in Chicago. After high school, he walked on to the Division 1 tennis team at Southern Illinois University. 

Cuffey graduated from the National Personal Training Institute and is NASM Certified.  Cuffey is also a U.S.A. Gymnastics Professional member.

When:  August 24th-28th

Time:  12-3PM

Where:  The Tennis and Fitness Centre, 301 Lake St., Oak Park

Price:  $175/week or $45/day

As a reminder the indoor tennis season, Session #1 starts September 13th and runs through October 31st.  Keep tennis going indoors with fall, winter and spring sessions. Register today!
