Introduction:
I am a stay at home mom with 4 delightful children living in Oak Park. We home school our children, eat organic foods, attend a local church, and try to limit screen access (i.e. television, computer,...) as much as possible. Neither my husband or I are on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter,... so when I came across homesandvillages, I was very excited to get involved. It seems to be a great opportunity to connect to Oak Parkers at large, people who are "not your friends or connections", just your local neighbors who share similar (sometimes:) values, concerns and interests for improving the life in our village.
